As the episodes from BBC’s first dating show keep making their way to our small screens week after week, there are a lot of broken hearts in the Masseria, and Dannii Minogue will spice things even more with the incorporation of three more dudes in “I Kissed A Boy.” This event will put more dynamism into the dating pool of these men who are all from different walks of life and have different expectations and different tastes; their common denominator is that they’re all gay; that’s the hook potential of this show, now well embarked into leaving elimination cliffhangers for the next episode.
All in all, the show’s very well edited, has a soundtrack of great artists, the camera editing and cinematography are impeccable, and the confessionals, as well as the background stories that are shared with each episode, give a level of depth and dimension that gives added value to the production. As for the relationship statuses, it’s worth noticing how Josh is worried about making the right call, Mikey is exploring, and with a Kiss-off around the corner, the love triangles and expectations drama intensify.
I Kissed A Boy Episode 4 Recap
Danni Minogue introduces the men to three more dudes to spice things up. First off, there’s Dan, a Scottish Public relations manager that lives in London. Secondly, we have Ceejay, a fashion brand consultant, and Vitor, the flight attendant. While the show has some dudes still together, others choose to move on. And since the second Kiss-Off is coming up, Dannii Minogue tells the boys that she’s only interested in real love. To spice things up for these oversexed dudes, Dannii Minogue throws a party that lets the men lose their inhibitions, not that they had many in the first place though.
The highlight of the party was Josh talking to Mikey about his expectations. The show moves on to Ceejay and Ross hanging out together by the pool about their expectations. And then, there’s more of Josh feeling a little uneasy about how fast things are moving in the reality show. As the boys decide what to do for the second Kiss-Off, the air is electric.
Then, we had a game of gay beer pong, except it was with prosecco that made Gareth share all sorts of things, his tastes in bed with the rest of the dudes, and how it was difficult for him to tell everyone he’s gay. It’s worth pointing out that the BBC invested in the rights for the background music as they’ve put Donna Summer, Madonna, Dua Lipa, Elton John, and other songs. When the Kiss-off gets off, Dannii Minogue welcomes the men in a red and feathered leather dress, the one that doesn’t get the kiss goes home, but that’s a cliffhanger for the next episode.
