The Witcher Season 2 Recap
There were a lot of witchers who were killed in season 2 because of this madness, and Ciri’s body provided him a perfect vessel to rule over the world. Although, Yennefer soon came in the middle of it all and shifted the soul of Voleth Meir from Ciri to her own body.
This transports her, Ciri, and Geralt to an unknown place where Voleth Meir leaves Yennefer as well. Soon as they come back, the trio finds out by seeing a glimpse and Voleth Meir is not going to stop anytime soon and is actually on a mission to create a body for himself.
Elsewhere, Francesca is mad because her baby is dead. It was brutally killed by someone, and she blames humans for the same and starts killing Yuman babies. This is when she finds out about Ciri and has hope again for the elves thinking she could be the one saving the entire population from going extinct.
Later in the episode, we find out that the actual baby killer was none other than Emhyr. He comes back to Cintra and also orders an execution for Fringilla and Cahir because they had lied to him. By the end of the episode, it is revealed that he is the father of Ciri who is popularly termed in the show as Duny. It would be interesting to see what lies in Ciri’s future and what roles to Geralt and Yennefer have in the same.
