Seoul Broadcasting System’s latest variety show, Strong Heart League took off last week with its innovative format of competitive storytelling, and we’re here to let you know the details on how to best enjoy this new production; if the name sounds familiar, it is because this is reboot show from another production that dates back over a decade.

In each episode, we are greeted by hosts Lee Seung Gi and Kang Ho Dong, they’ll present us with twelve topics to talk about, and a group of about twenty invited guests will have to comment and develop a parliament about this. The contestants will be divided into Team Red and Team Blue. On each topic, the contestants have a limited amount of time to talk about the topic: The topic can be anything that’s trending or something they want to talk about.
Since the show is broadcast live, you can expect lots of social media interactions and participation from the public. At the end of each episode, one person from the winning team will be awarded for their contribution to the show, and the overall winner will get a prize. It’s fair to say that one of the keys to winning this show is to tell a story with an original vantage point and a story that’s never been told before. It’s been almost twelve years since the original Strong Heart first aired on Korean television, the original production managed to rake in several awards in domestic competitions like Best Television Program, an Excellence Award, a Best Netizen Popularity Award, and Best Newcomer Show.
