“My True Scam Story,” a docuseries aimed at empowering women and changing how the public views Williams after the story broke, calling her all sorts of names for not realizing she was being scammed, will soon be released on VH1, alongside Angela Yee and Jennifer Williams. The short documentary miniseries tells the story of how Jennifer Williams was conned by her former romantic partner.

Jennifer Williams stars in the VH1 documentary My True Scams Story, which is executive-produced by Angela Yee. The story revolves around Williams’ experience of being scammed on social media and the backlash, guilt, and blame she felt for not being smart enough to see the fraud.
