Quoted as being glorious absurdity and comedy perfection by critics, Tim Robinson and Zach Kanin will be returning with a new season of I Think You Should Leave With Tim Robinson. As is seen in the trailer, get ready to witness a new and surprising lineup of guest celebs for each of the episodes of this show’s third season.
First released on Netflix on April 23rd, 2019, the comedy series is more of like a mix of various scenarios which all have one thing in common, embarrassment. The show goes to such lengths to create the perfectly awkward situation that we, as viewers, often also end up feeling like the protagonists of the episodes. Unlike the other “comedy” shows that we’ve known in the past, Tim Robinson’s series relies heavily on cringe comedy, so if that’s your cup of tea, I’ve got good news as not only does the show often feature surreal humor, we also sometimes see them center on the forbidden toilet humor.
Up until now, the series has featured celebrities such as Sam Richardson, Julia Butters, Beck Bennett, Fred Armisen, Brandon Wardell, and even The Walking Dead star Steven Yeun. With two seasons already having received good ratings and reviews, Tim and Zach immediately started working on the next season after the second one ended back in July of 2021. As usual, the upcoming season of I Think You Should Leave With Tim Robinson will have six short episodes.
I Think You Should Leave With Tim Robinson: What Happened in Season 2?
The previous season of Tim Robinson’s show, which was released on July 6th, 2021, began with an episode that had an unplanned meeting ending up causing chaos within an office. Asides from seeing a Ghost Tour leading one of the guests to forget all their restraints, we also see fellow prankers trying to mess with people for petty reasons, but soon their prank goes too wrong too fast.
Episode 2 has coworkers getting into real drama just because their shirt patterns ended up being the same on one day. In another place, we see the disadvantage of lying being portrayed right in front of us, but what’s stranger in this episode is the way a man just can’t get his mind off a baby who he believes knows whatever sins he had committed in his past.
By episode 3, we see a professor regretting his life choices after he ends up ordering a meal for dinner with his friends that is anything but appetizing. A short glimpse of a court case becomes part of it as well. Episode 4 featured a husband feeling tremendous guilt after making an uncalled-for offhanded joke that puts him in deep trouble. At another place, a team sets out on a trip, but nothing goes smoothly for the group as tensions dominate the excitement. The episode also talks about a weirdly specific website that only serves a single purpose related to pants.
Episode 5 has a novice driver navigating his car in a parking lot. Simple, it may sound, but the same wouldn’t go for the driver. Certain celebrity impressionists try their best to replicate their idols, but unfortunately for them, things get unruly pretty soon. The second season of Tim Robinson’s shows ends with the episode “I Need A Wet Paper Towel,” where besides being introduced to a one-of-a-kind doll, we also see a scary attempt at ear piercing.
