Hero Classroom is an action fantasy anime that is going to premiere this summer 2023 season. The anime is based on the light novel of the same name by authors Haruyuki Morisawa and Shin Araki. Hero Classroom is produced by Actas Studio, which is notably known for its work in Girls & Panzer anime and movies.

Hero Classroom follows the story of a high schooler named Blade, whose main goal for enrolling in high school was to make a good couple of friends. Rosewood Academy was a special school to create heroes who could defend the world against evil.
But it only enrolled students who had extraordinary skills; the academy specialized in training elite students. Even though the world was at peace after the hero beat the demon lord, there was still no surety that a sudden crisis could not happen in the future.
Rosewood Academy worked together to prepare the students for such a crisis. The academy’s top student, Arnest Flaming, was the empress of the academy; she was the next head of the Flaming family, and she maintained the top position in every field.
Arnest envied Blade for advancing his rank just after enrollment. She feared that he might steal her position soon. So Arnest started plotting schemes behind his back so that Blade would not focus on his training and lag.
But Blade was pretty different from the students at his school, even though other students found him interesting. Arnest showed her distaste for Blade because both of them were very competent.
Meanwhile, Blade just wanted to stay as an ordinary student, but Blade’s extraordinary skills led to a rivalry between the two of them. The blade had only one goal in life, and it was either to get strong or die.
Blade was lonely when he fought with the demon king on his own, but Rosewood Academy gave him a place to make friends who supported him in fulfilling his dream to fight against evil.
It was later revealed that Blade, in fact, enrolled in the academy to regain his power; the academy provided him with a place for his rehabilitation. The students at the academy could motivate him to perform well, and the curricular activities are a good source of challenging experiences.
But Blade was interested in none of it because he had one single goal: to make 100 friends at the academy. Hero Classroom is going to be filled with many action sequences and adventures as the students of Rosewood Academy go on their adventure to protect the world from evil beings.
