Renowned chef Gordon Ramsay is back with yet another food-related competitive reality show, but this time with a slight twist. He is back on television with his new reality series titled Gordon Ramsey’s, where he is on the lookout for who could be the next big food entrepreneur. During one of his interviews, the chef revealed that for this show, he would be focusing a bit less on the participant’s cooking skills and more on their business techniques.
Chef Ramsay has made it clear that the show will be unscripted, with participants who will be handpicked by him. Season one of the show was revealed recently, and the cutthroat competition within the show has become a source of excitement for many, who now eagerly wait for the next season. The basic premise of the show remains that Gordon Ramsey will be judging the fifteen selected participants on the basis of their business and entrepreneurial skills and how the candidates manage to stand out and come out on top after facing difficult tasks and challenges as the winner.
It was also revealed that the selected winner would not just be the winner of the show but would also get a hefty monetary reward from Gordon Ramsay himself as an investment in the winner’s startup. The fifteen candidates will have the chance of a lifetime to prove themselves worthy as a business enterprise and get Chef Ramsay himself to become a partner in their future business.
Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars: The Plot
The selected candidates on the show will be subjected to a variety of individual and group challenges, where they will have to impress the guests and manage to raise money for whatever cause may be introduced during the episodes. The rookie food entrepreneurs will be judged on how well they come up with business ideas, all the while delivering the best food in terms of taste and presentation.
The show is a matter of lifelong success and failure for many as the cash prize that hangs at the finish line is quite a big amount. Gordon Ramsay has, as the reward to the winner of the show, promised to personally invest a total of $250,000 in the winner’s new business along with becoming their business partner. Throughout the episodes, the candidates will have to face a total of ten extreme challenges to finally get to the finish line.
For now, the show has cast a total of fifteen candidates, including Aaron Valentine, Ashley Davies, Caroline D’Amore, Chanel Goodson, Chris Kanik, Elisa Strauss, Jake Aronskind, Jourdan Higgs, Kagen Cox, Lan Ho, Luther Chen, Megan Meza, Jewel Zabriskie, Sydney Webb, and Tony Balestreri. The show was created with the intention of finding the next big food mogul who would have the potential to not only provide finger-licking good food but also manage to lead the business with proper skills.
