Rachel Shenton and Jo Joyner star in Channel 5’s latest drama psych-thriller “For Her Sins”, a work by Adrian McDowell and Jo Rogers that promises to deliver a cerebral plot about two women, a dark secret, and how they go about it to protect their status quo in the social sphere, but the more they go about covering the problem, the more evident it becomes.
The more uncomfortable it turns out for them until it is time to do what’s necessary, even if the moral aspects of that decision go against these women’s grain. As we’ll see in this four-part miniseries, the things that are on the surface are not quite as they seem in a high-end residential neighborhood.
It’s not only the deceit, and it’s the cerebral conniving of a set of characters that must hide their true colors all while they conspire to get under each other’s skin. If you’re into psychological thrillers, this is the kind of show you don’t want to skip, and today, we’re bringing you the relevant information as to where to watch it.
For Her Sins Preview
Laura is a mom and a lawyer. And her life from the outside seems perfect: Career, kids, a nice house, social status, money, the works. Laura meets Emily, a new woman in the neighborhood whom she meets at the residential kid’s playground, the two start off a nice friendship with all the elements of quotidian life: They take the kids to the playground, go to luncheons together, and enter the social dynamics of their circle without many events.
But Emily is not quite who she seems. In fact, she is leading Laura down a treacherous path that is threatening to insidiously poison, corrupt, and destroy her life.
Laura may be hiding something, as evidenced by unsettling memories of a child drowning, and Emily’s cryptic phone call with an unknown caller that ends with the words “It’s definitely her” only deepens the mystery. Laura is relieved to have someone to discuss the difficulties of motherhood with, but she is unaware that she and Emily have a troubled history together and that Emily’s appearance in her life is no accident.
