What Is Benim Adim Farah About?
The O3 Medya production, Benim Adim Farah or “My Name is Farah,” is written by Deniz Dargı, Cenk Boğatur, and Cem Görgec, and Recai Karagöz sits on the director chair for this series.
The thrilling romance drama, Benim Adim Farah, is based on an Argentinian series named, “The Cleaning Lady.” The Turkish series mainly focuses on three protagonists, Farah, Tahir, and Kerimshah, Farah’s son.
Farah is a 28-year-old mother who is an illegal migrant from Istanbul and works as a cleaning lady in different hotels, to make a living. Her son, Kerimshah, suffers from a deadly illness, which requires expensive treatment and a clean atmosphere. Farah’s ultimate aim is to take her son to France for treatment, once she saves up the required amount of money.
Farah’s life was going almost smoothly, until she accidentally ran into a mafia, Tahir. When on a normal working day, Farah accidentally witnesses an accidental murder, she meets Tahir for the first time, after which her life turns completely upside down. To save her own life and to protect her son from getting involved with the chaos of the mafias, Farah cleans the crime scene, thus becoming an accomplice.
However, as Farah is the only eyewitness to the murder, Tahir is given a mission by his boss to kill her to ensure their safety. As if the situation wasn’t bad already, that it is later discovered that the person who was murdered was working undercover for the police. This makes things even worse.
Tahir, who is a rough man, starts to have a soft corner for Farah and her son while on the mission to kill her. Therefore, the viewers are all decked up for finding out how this unusual- unexpected couple’s story unfolds.
