In the previous chapter of How to Get My Husband on My Side, Ellenia drags the maid away from Iske, knowing that he will kill her. Ellenia wanted to protect the person who had been there for her when her mother abused her as a child, even in her anger. The maid tries to show concern for Ellen but she asks the maid that why would she lie and hurt her if she truly cared about her and Rubi. Ellen was furious and hurt because the maid had also blatantly lied about her own mother.

Ellenia turns around and tell the maid to get out of the house, and that she never wants to see her face in Omerta mansion again. The maid begs for Ellen to reconsider, but Ellen is not swayed by her crying and pleading.
