Frost Gleeok, In Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, is a powerful three-headed enemy that is all too simple to meet you in the game. One of the three elemental-type Gleeoks can be found in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom’s South Tabantha Snowfield, close to the Orochium Shrine.
It is a Frost Gleeok. If you’re not giving focus to the skies, it can come out of nowhere very quickly, so you’ll need to decide quickly if you want to fight it out or flee.
Similar to other battles in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, half the war is won by being prepared before facing the enemy. The objective for all Gleeok types is the same: use arrows to attack their three heads and bring them to the ground. Different types of Gleeok react differently to different types of ammunition. Once they are grounded, hit them hard.
It will take some planning and preparation to defeat it, but if you know what to look for, you can do it and put an end to Hyrule’s icy threat once and for all.
We’re going to walk you through how to defeat the Tears of the Kingdom Frost Gleeok, so prepare some Tears of the Kingdom elixir recipes for cold resistance and take add some arrows too.

Where to find Frost Gleeok?
In Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, three Frost Gleeoks are discovered all over Hyrule. We advise you to carry a lot of cold-resistant food and elixirs in your pockets because they are all found in extremely cold regions. We will give you some locations where you can find Frost Gleeok and fight it with our guide.
Tabantha Snowfield (-1962, 2938, 0245)
In Hebra, there is a Frost Gleeok in Tabantha Snowfield. Between South Tabantha Snowfield and North Tabantha Snowfield is where you can find it. The Gleeok is located northwest of Orochium Shrine, close to Snowfield Stable, and roughly east of Pikida Stonegrove Skyview Tower.
Gerudo Summit (-4005, -1008, 0764)
In the Gerudo Highlands, on Gerudo Summit, is another Frost Gleeok. The quickest route to the Gleeok location is to dive down from Gerudo Highlands Skyview Tower, which is located directly north of this.
Biron Snowshelf (-3745, 2887, 0410)
In the Hebra Mountains’ Biron Snowshelf, we discovered the third Frost Gleeok. It is east of Hebra West Summit, north of Rospro Pass Skyview Tower, and east of Tauyosipun Shrine.
How to Beat Frost Gleeok?
Knowing how to deal with Frost Gleeok’s phases is important for defeating it. While its attack is not changing as the Scourge bosses you’ll find at each natural phenomenon location in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, it performs in a manner that is similar to some of them. You must attack a specific location until it is stunned and exposed.
Phase-I
A pair of ice lasers fired by a Frost Gleeok as its first attack will instantly freeze and kill you. Jump off a high point, like one of the stone ruin buildings, and shoot arrows at each head quickly and slowly. When you’ve struck all three, land carefully and attack with your most powerful weapon, it will stand back up and begin the second phase.
Phase-II
In the second phase, it starts throwing ice your way, and as it hits the ground, it explodes into the shape of a snowflake. Avoid its attacks, just like in the first phase, and concentrate on shooting arrows at its head.
It will also start flapping its wings and producing strong gusts that, if you’re not careful, could carry Link off into the distance. Simply stay out of its way, get an arrow in where you can, and then deal additional damage while it is stunned.
Phase-III
The Frost Gleeok will fly higher into the air during its third phase, beyond the range of your arrows. Giant icicles will begin to fall from the sky and become embedded in the ground.
If one lands close, climb on it and use Tears of the Kingdom Recall, but try to avoid getting hit when they fall. This will launch the icicle into the air, where you can easily kill the heads again by shooting them from the icicle or using bullet time.
