In September 2019, three friends of Mack were arrested for the investigation. A friend Cameron Pettit reportedly gave Mac stimulated oxycodone tablets consisting of fentanyl two days before his death, which was injected into Pettit by Ryan Reavis. It was supplied by Stephen Walter. Mac had requested Pettit Percocet, an authorized analgesic consisting of oxycodone, besides cocaine and Xanax. According to investigators, Mac inhaled pills seized before his death. The three men were arrested on charges of spoiling and drug trafficking that led to Mac’s death.
