House of the Dragon, one of the numerous speculated Game of Thrones spinoff shows, is finally arriving on our screens after what seems like an eternity. This new series, a prequel to the one that we’ve already seen, follows the Targaryen family on their ascent to the Iron Throne and is set 200 years prior to the events of the first season of “Game of Thrones.” It is inspired by George R.R. Martin’s “Fire & Blood,” though reportedly only a portion of it. Before you start plotting out your theories on a piece of paper and searching for every Easter egg imaginable, you should probably know exactly the Schedule of House Of The Dragons and how to stream it.
In the prequel series, Daenerys Targaryen’s forefathers will be the central focus, and the brutal civil war at the peak of the age of dragons will be covered. While houses Lannister, Stark, and Baratheon led Game of Thrones, the Targaryen family will take center stage in House of the Dragon. Considering that the first season of House of the Dragon cost HBO about $20 million per episode to produce, let’s hope the spectacle of the upcoming dragon fights can match that of the original show.
House Of The Dragons Episode Schedule
House of the Dragon premiered on 21 August 2022 on HBO at 9 p.m. EST. The first season will have 10 episodes, released weekly all through September and October. House of the Dragon will be available on HBO and streaming on HBO Max. The finale will follow on October 23. If the conflict in House of the Dragon wasn’t enough, the fantasy program would compete with Amazon’s The Rings of Power, which premieres on September 2.

If House of the Dragon returns for a second season, would it continue to explore the Targaryen civil war that was introduced in the first season’s ten episodes of The Dance of Dragons? The prequel to Game of Thrones has not yet received official approval from HBO for the second batch of episodes. The show’s creators, though, appear to be itching for more. Showrunner Ryan Condal acknowledged how much history the show might cover in an interview and stated that they already have a plan in place for House of the Dragon Season 2.
