Agents from the Department of Homeland Security conducted a raid on Monday at a mansion located in Holmby Hills, which is associated with the rap mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs and his production company.
It is believed the raid – as well as a similar operation at a Combs home in Miami – was associated with a federal sex-trafficking investigation based out of New York.
Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) agents were carrying out their operations in the 200 block of S. Mapleton Drive in Holmby Hills, a prestigious Los Angeles neighborhood renowned for housing celebrities and the Playboy Mansion. This address is linked to Combs’ Bad Boy Films production company.
According to sources, agents were observed detaining two individuals, later identified as Diddy’s sons, outside the property.
It’s worth noting that the two sons were not placed under arrest but were held outside while agents conducted their search.
Numerous agents were observed meticulously searching the property, sifting through boxes and even inspecting cushions within outdoor pool furniture.
According to neighbors interviewed by Eyewitness News, they often witness parties at the property that extend into the night, but they were unaware of any illicit activities.
Following the news of the raid, tour buses began bringing tourists to the residence to observe federal agents as they continued their investigation.
In addition to the operation in Holmby Hills, federal agents were also present at a Miami residence associated with Combs.
Combs, a renowned rapper, producer, and entertainment mogul, boasts three Grammy wins and a staggering net worth, nearly hitting the $1 billion mark, as estimated in 2022.
