The story of the drama follows Zho who has a long-time crush on Nita but to win her over, he joins hands with her ex Joke. Whereas, Joke agreed to help Zho but with different intentions.

Hidden Agenda Episode 5: Recap (Spoilers)
After Zho and Joke’s first kiss and a romantic trip night at Chiang Khan, their relationship doesn’t seem to progress at all. Zho starts ignoring Joke the next day. On their way home, Joke offers Zho to go together to someone’s house first to freshen up, but Zho rejects it and says to split parts from here.
Joke is all confused about Zho’s sudden behavior change. Meanwhile next day at university also, Zho tries to avoid Jokes. He gives the excuse of important work at home and leaves early. When he reaches, he gets a text from Joke to meet and return the snacks he has at his home. Zho refused to meet and texted back that he would give those back to the university.
Right after Zho sends a text to Joke, his mother asks him to go to the market to bring groceries for her. Zho goes to the market but forgets his phone at home. Whereas Joke calls him several times but doesn’t get a response.
Joke himself goes to Zho’s home to check on him, but he finds his mom is also there. He then helps Zho’s mom with cooking. When Zho returns from the market, he gets stunned to see Joke helping his mother. On Zho’s mother’s request, Joke had dinner with them.
After dinner, while washing dishes, Joke flirts with Zho and asks him the reason for his ignorance. The two were about to kiss again but were interrupted by Zho’s mother. Melancholy Joke goes to karaoke to take out his misery, and there he gets envious of Jeng being in a relationship.
He asks Jeng for some relationship advice, whereas the next day, Zho will also ask Pok for some love advice. Then suddenly, an important club meeting notice arrives. Everyone gathers in the classroom and, on senior order, introduces themselves with a pose. Joke’s hilarious sun-rising pose will bring a smile to Zho’s face.
The next day all the debate club students will go to a popular debate tv show shoot. Zho and others enjoy seeing the cast debating in real. After that, they ask to volunteer a few students and take the side of the team that they feel will win for today. Unfortunately, the team Zho and Joke sided with the losing team and were given punishment for eating stink beans.
Joke remembers that Zho’s mother was saying Zho hates eating stink beans. He took it from Zho and ate it himself. It made Zho more furious and confused. The moment they return back to the university, Zho corners Joke and asks him the reason why he eats stink beans. Joke tries to cool him down and asks him the real reason.
Zho says sorry to him for kissing back on the trip, ignoring him, and not talking to him properly. Meanwhile, just after this, Joke hugs Zho and confesses his love for him. He tells Zho to take time and give back him the answer.
