Hellbound Plot Summary
Things kick off at a coffeehouse outside Hapseon Station on November 10th, 2022. Indoctrinator Jung Jinsu, the creator of the New Truth, delivers a video sermon to a group of pals. In the group, the girl is afraid that angels will descend from the sky and take people to hell, while the lads are too ready to mock her. Unbeknownst to them, monstrous black ape-like figures suddenly appear and begin chasing the anxious-looking man seated in the cafe directly behind them. Before returning to their land, they set him ablaze in the streets.
Detectives Eunpyo and Kyunghun investigate the New Truth sect after the death. Fortunately, the crime scene has Jung Jinsu and his students conducting a session. There’s been more of these so-called “demonstrations of God” over the world. Heejung, Kyunghun’s daughter, is a Jinsu devotee, much to his father’s dismay. Chairman Jung, Jung Jinsu, is a strong leader whose admirers call him “Chairman Jung.” While being interrogated, he also admits that some of the extremists in his organization may go with the name Arrowhead. He appears to be a person who is open and honest.
Late Night Enigmas
Late at night, Kyunghun finds a single enemy of the New Truth: Min Hyejin of the Sodo law firm. On the very same night, a novelist was assaulted by a group of teenagers from Arrowhead. The next day, Min Hyejin and the novelist show up at the station. The vandals from the previous night have been apprehended by the authorities. However, the delinquents remain unfazed because they are being punished at the best prison. At work, Min Hyejin sees Park Jungja, who’ve been dealt the “decree”.
Hayul and Eunyul, Park Jungja’s children, are flown to Canada on a secret aircraft by Min Hyejin. Meanwhile, Jinsu and Heejung are on the prowl for the assassin of Heejung’s mother, a guy who was arrested but later freed from prison. His body burns inside a furnace while Jinsu guides Heejung, who is overcome by emotions. A high-profile group of people gathers the following morning at Park Jungja’s home to observe the protest. The fulfillment of the prophecy is also being aired by the media, while the police remain useless.

Few Things Considered
The cult’s new leader, Pastor Kim Jeongchil, assumes the reins. When Min Hyejin’s life is in danger, he turns to Arrowhead for help. However, she is still alive and will play a key role in the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. An enormous time jump shows the cult’s continuous rise, with more than 50% of the world’s population now following it. Youngjae and Junwon are two video producers in 2027 who work on a propaganda film for the New Truth. But the customers aren’t satisfied, and they’d like some of the confession recordings to be re-edited.
While Bae Youngjae has no qualms about speaking his thoughts, Junwon shudders at the mere mention of his order. Junwon’s wife called Youngjae and asked him to run some errands to a fishing pier, so Youngjae obliged. Then he meets Junwon, whose demonstration is just around the corner, and it’s deja vu all over again. With this, we conclude our coverage of this topic here at Otakukart.
