Heaven Official’s Blessing Season 1 Recap
It’s a cool show about Xie Lan in Heaven Official’s Blessing Season 1. He was once the crown prince of Xianle, but he died and went to heaven 800 years ago. Now, the other heaven officials think he doesn’t do well because he keeps messing up when he goes down to the human world.
That’s about to change. As Xie Lan investigates rumors about a ghost kidnapping brides, he discovers there’s a lot more to this Ghost King than meets the eye.
The series is divided into different parts, called “arcs,” where Xie Lan and his friends try to solve mysterious problems. Xie Lan and Hua Cheng have a sweet and believable love story. There are scary parts and funny parts (though not always very funny). I thought this show was mostly about romance before I started watching it, but I was pleasantly surprised.
This show has a good story as well. They’ve created a wonderful world for this show. The characters in the side stories, as well as those in the main story, were all well thought out. Xie Lan is a great main character. He’s kind and likable.
A total of 12 episodes make up the first season, including an extra special one at the end. I have to admit that the last few episodes are somewhat shorter than the others. There is a lot of love and hard work put into the show by the makers, just like Fate/ Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works.
The music is also very beautiful, and the camera angles make the scenes even more interesting to watch. At first, when I started watching, I felt like the story moved too fast. The first episode ended oddly, and I wasn’t sure what to expect next. Afterward, I discovered that Netflix split the first episode into two parts, which is why it felt weird.
After that, the program gets better at knowing when to make you laugh and when to make you feel frightened. However, sometimes it’s a little difficult to follow, especially when they go into great detail regarding the puzzles.
It seems as though something was lost in translation when the novel was turned into a television show. Even if the riddles are fairly intriguing, I was taken aback by what happened a few times. I had no idea how well-developed the side stories’ characters would be.
Each of them has a unique backstory and multiple stages of growth. It takes time for Xie Lan and Hua Cheng’s romance to blossom. I enjoyed seeing their interactions and gradually fell in love. Fu Yao and Nan Feng, the supporting players, lacked development opportunities.
Heaven Official’s Blessing Season 1 is an excellent anime show that cleverly blends romance, intrigue, and fantasy. While it initially struggles with timing and humor, it improves as you watch.
The animation and graphics are excellent, and the soundtrack and camera to further elevate. This show is a must-watch if you love intricate stories and stunning visuals. It’s a show that surprises you, and the news of a second season is a pleasant bonus for fans of the show. So, if you’re looking for an entertaining and cool show to watch, you should check this out.
