The summer series in Corsica went down in history as one of the most dramatic for Made in Chelsea watchers, but for Inga Valentiner, it was just life. Now that series 26 has started and the group is back on home ground, it appears like a lot of the drama has returned with them.
Inga Valentiner claims she is over her terrible breakup with co-star Sam Prince, who teased a proposal before quickly abandoning ship to date her close friend Yasmine Zweegers, six months after they first broke up. After spending a month in Bali on her “healing journey,” she recently returned, downloaded Tinder, and decided to take a break from Made in Chelsea while the team heads to Sydney. We got in touch with her to learn more about her life after Corsica.
Has Inga Left Made In Chelsea?
Though she appears in the current series, Inga has rightly chosen to take a sabbatical from Made in Chelsea, suggesting that there is only so much hate a female can take. Assuring us, she said Not that I was never going back, but I didn’t feel right being near Sam and in that setting immediately following Corsica, and it wasn’t the greatest way for me to move on from the split and recover.
She has teamed with Tinder and Sixty Ink to urge individuals to change tattoos that remind them of their ex-partners into something new, as she hopes to put the past behind her for the time being. One tattoo that Inga has is a reminder of an ex that she acquired “on a whim.”
It’s really hard to discuss with someone new when you start dating again, the woman claims. Just lie to people when they ask! I can get away with it because it’s not a name. She wants it taken off now that she’s in her single phase.
Regarding Inga’s potential to date another co-star, she states that she would “rather not.” “No one branches out; everyone stays in the same circle,” but “I love meeting new people, so that’s what I want to do.” She’s using Tinder to accomplish precisely that. I was single after our separation, but I’m ready to start dating again.
It can be scary to reenter that atmosphere after a painful breakup, so using Tinder is a terrific choice, she says. I haven’t gone on a date in three years, so I’m rusty. However, Tinder is a great tool to take a closer look at.
After learning that her friend Yasmine Zweegers and her ex-partner Sam had shared a kiss just days after their breakup and were harbouring romantic feelings for one another, Inga abruptly quit the summer spin-off. “It was challenging for a while, but I believe enough time has passed and I’ve made significant progress in myself,” she says. Now that I’ve finished my recovery phase, I’m prepared to resume dating.
While the cast’s time apart did help, it was short-lived as they quickly started filming the current series. This isn’t a “normal situation,” as Inga is all too familiar with. We’re filming together and in the same friendship circle, so it felt a little weird, but she continues, “I think I made it through.”
Regarding whether or not she watched the Corsica series again, Inga admits that she usually tries to stay away from revisiting upsetting experiences, but she did watch the episode about the dinner party. Yes, I did watch that one. It will be recorded in history. “It was strange to relive it, but I wouldn’t watch it again,” she says.
It would be a disservice to the country to not question Inga what everyone sees in Sam Prince given his track record with women. She acknowledges, “I don’t know how he gets all the girls, but he manages to do it.” People seem to immediately up to him when they first meet him because he exudes a mischievous, carefree vibe.
He’s entertaining for that, but if you want to be serious or in a relationship with him, he’s not entertaining. His ability to make girls feel unique is quite impressive, but it becomes problematic when you’re in a relationship since he also makes the other girls feel special.
