The Good Bones co-stars reunites to spent some quality time with each other. Two months after the last episode of Season 8 was aired, the stars have decided to meet.
On 17 December 2023, Laine posted the pictures with Miller and wrote that he has visited her little house in Wilmington, a city in North Carolina, United States. She continued by saying that it was so much fun and nice to have Miller who she sarcastically referred to have extra brain and good attitude for problem solving.
The show Good Bones featured Laine alongside her daughter Mina Starsiak Hawk and their team who used to do renovation works for homes in Indianapolis. The show had eight seasons and was last aired in October 17 2023.
The show mainly focuses on showing the ideas of mother and daughter duo and the team and how the works are done. Their signature style includes creating green spaces wherever possible and incorporating work by local artists and craftsman to put a personal touch on the homes.
Fans expressed their excitement to see their favorite shows members back together. But the reunion comes right after Laine’s daughter Starsiak Hawk revealed that she and Miller is not in good talking terms.
Hawk has also opened up about the rift between her and her mother Laine and said that she has not spoken with her mother in over a year. In a podcast, last week , she answered one of the questions from her listener about her relationship with Miller.
She clearly pointed out she is not in good terms with Miller.
Mina Starsiak Hawk reveals she is not in speaking terms with Cory Miller
In the last week’s episode of the podcast Mina AF, Starsiak Hawk revealed that she is not in good terms with her co-star Cory Miller.
One of the listener asked in the podcast, if Miller and she were still friends or not ,as they unfollowed each other on Instagram recently. For the question she replied that
So, there’s been enough questions about Cory that she is going to try to address this in a respectful way. Cory and Mina are not on speaking terms. She is positive that there are things he feels like she did to him, and I’ve known him since he was 11, and I’ve always had a soft spot for him.
She also pointed out that couple of things that happened towards the end did not allow her to move on. She is not likely to accept that kind of an energy in her life right now. She also said that she has got many amazing people around her who loves and care for her and is happy with it.
She expressed her thoughts on unfollowing certain people and how people in social media thinks. She mentioned that many people in social media is wishing or wanting to see people fail or fall down and is not clearly supporting them in their low times.
In many of her podcast episodes, she has hinted about the issues that she is having with her mother and brother. In the September episode, she noted that some of the boys in the latest season of Good Bones were not actually employed by her anymore, despite being a part of the show.
Laine has also mentioned the rifts between she and her kids. She said that her kids destroyed some of her retirements dreams after buying the new house.
While filming for the final season ,Starsiak Hawk told that there were many challenging moments as she and Laine were not in good terms. She even mentioned that she and her mom had a fight in the season’s premier.
