HGTV’s Mina Starsiak Hawk is always showing that she can handle any problem that comes her way. On Thursday, August 31, something went wrong when she was working on a home improvement project. In her Instagram stories, Mina, who is 36 years old, shared that a whole can of paint accidentally dropped from her hand and got all over her clothes and skin.
The host of “Good Bones” had white paint all over her as she displayed the mess it made right in the middle of the street. “It’s everywhere,” she informed her followers when she encountered this unexpected situation while moving her supplies. She also pointed out, “And that, my friend, is how comfy yoga pants turn into work yoga pants.”
Mina searched for some plastic to cover the spilled paint to make sure nobody else stepped in it. She sounded annoyed as she talked about her very busy day and not having much time to clean up.
Mina commented that she still had to make four more stops today, and then she had to pick up the kids from school and rush them to tennis, all while looking disheveled.
Mina shares moving on mantra after the spilled paints incident
Mina is a mother of two children, Jack and Charlotte, and she is married to Steve Hawk. Even though she did not expect this paint spill problem, the home designer shared an important message with her followers.
She shared that there was no need to be upset about the paint spill as she displayed the paint stuck on her shoes. “Carry on”, is what she shared.

Later in the day, Mina took her 5-year-old son, Jack, to his swim class, and it was evident that she had moved past the paint mishap. Earlier this month, Jack had a birthday party with a dinosaur theme, which included cute animals at a petting zoo.
Even though it looked like the Starsiak-Hawk family had a great time at the party, Mina talked about some issues within her family.
She mentioned on her podcast, “Mina AF,” on Monday, August 28, that she is not getting along well with her brothers, William and Tad, and her mom, Karen E. Laine. At that point, she was thinking about whether to invite them to Jack’s birthday party.
Will there be Good Bones Season 9?
Sad news for fans of HGTV’s show Good Bones. The home renovation series, featuring a mother-daughter team, is coming to an end after nearly ten years.
Mina Starsiak Hawk, who was a central figure on the show with her mom, Karen E. Laine, revealed on her “Mina AF” podcast (as reported by PEOPLE) that season 8, which premiered on August 15, will be the final season of Good Bones.
Starsiak Hawk says that it is the end of a special time. “I had to say goodbye to some people today that I have spent my last almost 10 years with”.

Continuing, Mina expressed deep gratitude towards the network for the opportunity to produce a show over the past few years. She emphasized her pride in creating a series that, for the most part, accurately portrayed her identity, a goal that had been paramount to her since the project’s inception.
Before Good Bones, Mina Starsiak Hawk and Laine had a home renovation business in Indianapolis called Two Chicks and a Hammer, which started in 2007. The idea behind the show is that they find houses in really bad shape and turn them into beautiful, renovated homes.
Even though Good Bones is coming to an end, HGTV is talking to Mina and Karen about doing other shows.
