The fight for Hayato’s affection will be at fault as we will see a story of the past in Goddess Café Terrace Chapter 160. The manga focuses on the different aspects of the characters many times, and the next chapter will be no different. Moreover, we will see Hayato’s grandmother see a return and a story that links to the cafe.
The members of the Goddess cafe gather so often to take a break and go out as a family once in a while. Hayato and the group gathered to pay a visit to Grandma on the occasion of Obon (a Japanese festival for honoring the dead). And meet some neighbors on their way out to give exposition for the plans of their day.
Most of the chapters were dialogue and how the characters have changed throughout time since they joined the cafe. We learned that the first one to join the cafe was Kiku because of her desire to learn to cook. Which was then followed by Akane who wanted to go in there to gain extra grub as her side gig.
Hayato didn’t understand why the others joined after the first three, only to learn it was an error on Grandma’s part. Grandma forgot to put down the help wanted sign and Ouka and Ami followed into Familia for their reasons. Ouka recalled how she was living a hard life back then and joining the family was one of the better decisions of her life.
