The adventure to a wedding has finally come to an end with a success at defeating the Goblin and making the area ever so free from the Goblins. This small wedding arc has been the best, and fans got to see a lot of new characters and many other things that we did not expect.
While it did not seem that the Priestess would come through and help the Goblin Slayer, she proved to be the main reason for the defeat of the Goblins and the closing of the gate to hell. Although she is worried that she is using her power for bad, the indications clearly tell her that she is doing it for good.
This development is very different from what we saw with Goblin Slayer also revealing a little about his past and how he had a sister who died without ever getting married. This was one of the rare moments where we saw Goblin Slayer finally revealing something about himself.
The latest episode ended with everyone returning to their home and thus fans look forward to seeing what is going to happen next in the series. Goblin Slayer Season 2 Episode 9 is going to be the next installment in the series, which will be released by this weekend.
As of now, there is no preview available for the said episode, and thus, we are not sure what the new journey is going to be about, but the least we can do is speculate about it.

Recap And Review
Determined to defeat the Shaman, the group goes after him and gets up to the roof, where they find him along with an army of goblins. The priestess uses her magic to temporarily turn the Shaman’s blood into water which makes the latter unconscious.
The Dwarfs who had been acting as bait at the roof jump out of it using their magic and trap the goblins that the Goblin Slayer had prior to the battle. The river water traps drown the Goblins to their death and the party gets a success against the goblins.
Priestess had been worrying that she was using her miracle powers for granted. However, she feels satisfactory as the flooded roof makes a rainbow.
We get to learn that this has also affected other areas where a Hero and her party had been fighting the demons at the gate of the hell to stop it from reopening and sensing the flow of the river has changed, it makes it easier for them to close the gate once again.
The Hero says that she would love to meet who killed the Goblin Shaman and thanks them. After this, the wedding takes place which everyone is invited and it is here where Goblin Slayer gets emotional about his sister who died without ever getting married.
As the wedding comes to an end, the Priestess bestows a girl with her tiara to get a beloved husband. As the wedding party comes to an end after three days, everyone returns to their home.
