As the events with the high elves and her sister have come to an end, the anime does not wait for a while before a new narrative starts. The latest episode has set the event for what is to come next and as anyone would have predicted, it is nothing more than the unnamed protagonist wanting to kill the goblins that are causing trouble.
The Goblins Slayer got not one but two opportunities to face the goblins in the latest episode and the way it is headed, it seems like we are going to see him do this many times in the upcoming episodes. Considering there are only three episodes remaining for this season of the anime, we are assuming that the narrative with the Sword Maiden will be the last one for this season.
While we are going to learn a lot more about the Sword Maiden, lately we have been seeing Goblin Slayer thinking about his sister, and in the latest episode, he showed how he would have loved to have his sister in the city as well. Fans want to see where this narrative will lead and thus await to see the next episode.
Goblin Slayer Season 2 Episode 10 is going to be the next one for the anime which will be released by this weekend. Recap
The episode starts with a flashback that sees the Sword Maiden working on the job of defeating two demons when she was assigned the job of killing the goblins but she is glad that she doesn’t have to fight them. Back to the present, we see that the Goblin Slayer has been assigned a job to kill the sea goblin but it turns out to be a gill-men who wants him to defeat a giant serpent.
Thus, Goblin Slayer does so and in return, he gets ocean treasure from the gill-men. The Sword Maiden then comes to visit the Goblin Slayer informing him about the goblins targeting the people between the Water Town and the Capital City and thus she wants him to be her bodyguard on this adventure.
As Goblin Slayer is ready to leave, we see that he speaks with the Cow Girl which makes the Sword Maiden very jealous. Camping at night, we see that the Sword Maiden is terrified and thus seeks to see the Goblin Slayer but the goblins ambush them.
Goblin Slayer locks the Sword Maiden in the carriage to keep her safe and goes on to kill the Goblins. He realizes that there might be more of them with human prisoners, but also realizes the sign on their hands. With this night over, they arrive at the Capital City but their entry has been delayed because of the King returning from a business.
As Goblin Slayer and the Sword Maiden enter the city, the former regrets how he wanted his sister to be here as well.
