Girls’ Alert, also known as GSA, is an abbreviation for the same. It is a South-Korean girl group that was formulated by the company Roots Entertainment. GsA is a kpop girl band that debuted on May 25, 2017, making it a third-generation group.
At the time of its debut, the group had five members, namely, GyeoUI, Jisung, Seulbi, Saet Byeol, and Gooseul. Later, after the exit of GyeoUI for higher studies, Narin was introduced as a part of the group. Due to unfortunate circumstances, two of the now five members, Saet Byeol and Narin, exited the group.
Their debut single ‘Dream Girls’ is a cute, back-to-school girly concept that introduces the concept of Girls’ Alert and has soft pink pastels in their color scheme. The Music Video for Dream Girls is set in a classroom of a school with the girls performing the choreography. Their first comeback, ‘Daddy Long Legs, ‘ which was released after the exit of GyeoUI, is again a sweet and cute concept by Girls’ Alert and is a fast, upbeat track.
Their latest comeback in 2019, ‘We Got The Power,’ took all the fans by surprise as it was a new concept. As previously, the girls have taken up cute concepts. This comeback was a bold concept and rap elements, along with bass drops. The girls were shown in a new light which was liked by many K-Pop fans. The members of Girls’ Alert have showcased a new self, which is strong, and this reflects in the Music Video for ‘We Got The Power’.
Members
Jisung
Yoon Ji Sung, or Jisung, is the Leader, Lead Rapper, and Vocalist of the girl group GsA. She was born on August 6, 1999, in Suncheon, South Jeolla Province in South Korea. At the time of their debut, she was the second oldest member after GyeoUI; however, after her exit, Jisung was the oldest member of the group.
Jisung was given with leader’s responsibility as GyeoUI, the former leader who had left the group. Jisung shares that for her, concerts stand of more importance than any music bank wins as these broadcasts just show what the songs are; however, in a concert, a fan can enjoy their music well. A concert is a place where the girls perform for their fans. Jisung has graduated high school.
Seulbi
Kim Mun Jung, or Seulbi, is the Lead Dancer, Vocalist, and Visual for Girls’ Alert. She was born on October 28, 1999, in Seoul, South Korea. She says her role model is BLACKPINK’s Rosé and also uses her photograph as her wallpaper. Seulbi went to Hanbat High School and graduated it.
Seulbi counts herself as a unique person who has a different side of her personality to showcase, which makes her full of surprises. Her favorite season is the fall as she despises hot weather and really likes the colors red and black, which are monochromatic in nature.

Gooseul
Lee Yeo Reum, or Gooseul, is the Main Dancer, Main Rapper, Lead Vocalist, and Maknae in the group Girls’ Alert. She was born on August 18, 2001, in Daejeon in South Korea.
She was the second youngest member of the group until Narin was a part of it. She has been a part of a drama called ‘Chubby Romance,’ and it’s part two. She graduated from middle school and high school in performing arts.
Gooseul has been the dance coach for the girls in Girls’ Alert. Her nicknames are Lee Goori and Kkukku. According to Gooseul, her most charming point is her ‘eye smile’. She also mentions that her favorite weather is Summer because her birth name Yeoreum means Summer in Korean.
Former Members
Narin
Lee Eunseo, or Narin, is the former Main Vocalist and Maknae of Girls’ Alert. She shares the same birthdate as Seulbi and was born on October 28, 2004. She was a part of their group for the comeback ‘We Got The Power.’ Her preference is vocals rather than dance because she likes to harmonize melodies with her members. Her nickname is Baby Narin, and she has a habit of singing all the time.
Narin’s favorite weather is Fall, as her birthday falls at that time. In February 2020, her company announced that she would be going on hiatus due to health issues, and ever since March 2020, it is assumed that she left the group as there has been no update on her activities as a member of GSA ever since.
Saet Byeol
Jeon Yoo Jin, or Jeon Saet Byeol, is a former member of Girls’ Alert. She had the position of Lead vocalist and was born on February 27, 2001. Saet Byeol was born in Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province, in South Korea.
She was also a part of the drama called ‘Chubby Romance’ and was a contestant on MIXNINE, where she stood in the 161st position. Saet Byeol adds the boy’s looks and charms to the group because of her energy.
Her nicknames are Bread Addict and Bomb. She considers herself the healthiest among all members. Her charming points are her eyes and her round face. Her favorite season is also fall, and she likes singing the songs of IU and BOL4 at the karaoke. In April 2020, she terminated her contract and made a debut in PIXY in February 2021. However, a year later, she also left that group in August 2022 due to health issues.

GyeoUI
Jang Ji Ho, or Han GyeoUI, was the former Leader and Main Vocalist of Girls’ Alert. She was born on December 13, 1998, in Pohang, North Gyeongsang Province in South Korea. After the release of their debut song, GyeoUI left the group in 2018 to focus on her studies.
Debut
Girls’ Alert debuted on May 25, 2017, under the company Roots Entertainment as a five-member girl group, including, GyeoUI, Jisung, Seulbi, Saet Byeol, and Gooseul.
However, after a year of debut, GyeoUI left the group, and in the next comeback, Narin was introduced as a member who later also left the group in 2020 due to health problems and Saet Byeol left the group in 2020 and debuted in a different group in 2022.
April 24, 2020, their company announced that they we pushing back the release of the album due to the pandemic and later ended their contracts since they were not able to manage Girls’ Alert due to the financial situation the company was in.
They, however, announced that Girls’ Alert was not disbanded yet and will continue as a group with three members, namely, Jisung, Seulbi, and Gooseul.
Songs and Albums
Girls’ Alert debuted with the single ‘Dream Girls’ at the time of debut with five members. Their next comeback was ‘Daddy Long Legs’ in 2018, followed by the addition of another member, Narin, for the next comeback of the group, ‘We Got The Power’ in 2019.
