The Premise Of Gecenin Ucunda
A TMC Film and Alim Productions series, Gecenin Ucunda’s narrative revolves around Macide, who is a human resource expert. She is a psychology graduate who feels trapped amidst the dreary walls of Ankara. She seeks a way out of the inequalities that she has witnessed in the corporate world. As a result, she gradually starts thinking about following the path of healing, which she learned from her father.
At this point, Macide crosses paths with a fortune-teller, Ahmet Isik, on a train who changes her life. She figures out that to attain redemption, she has to take the path of healing and serve the needy.
Gecenin Ucunda Recap
In the previous episodes of Gecenin Ucunda, we have seen that Macide opted to get a divorce, after giving in to Kazim’s constant pressure. But this decision of Macide upsets Kazim, and Macide too had to face several challenges. Things became more chaotic with the arrival of Serra next to Ahmet, which also adds to Kazim’s existing chaos.
However, Kazim was successful in reversing Macide’s decision of getting a divorce, but he got a taste of a totally different Macide. Macide stopped letting Kazim’s habit of tossing her around and started to realize what she desires herself.
We also witnessed that when Kazim left for Ankara with Nazli, Macide felt devastated and jealous at the same time. She kept worrying about him as she does not trust Nazli’s intentions. But her jealousy overtook her, as a result, she unexpectedly traveled to Ankara and gives a surprise visit to Kazim and Nazli, which annoyed Nazli.
On the other hand, Kazim felt insecure when he saw Macide and Nejat’s friendship getting deeper. He thought the situation to be risky. Therefore, to prove his dominance over Nejat, Kazim started behaving more calmly toward Macide and started taking extra care of his wife.
Even after making sure that Nejat does not get close to Macide, however, Kazim was taken aback when he heard the news of Macide’s choice of joining Nejat’s team. Despite his intense rage at Macide’s decision, Kazim, somehow, controlled himself and carried on working with Nejat and Macide.
On the other side, Nazli felt uncomfortable seeing Kazim getting bothered about Macide, which complicated the whole situation. However, at the end of the day, Macide was the one to rescue Kazim from the complex situation by explaining to him about her and Nejat’s friendship, which is nothing to be worried about.
