Rebel Galaxy now gets a reboot with its new upcoming sequel, and this time, the promises much more. The original game was released in 2015, and now, fans are waiting for the upcoming sequel, Rebel Galaxy. According to a report from GameSpot, Rebel Galaxy Outlaw has much more to offer to payers as players can do more when they are at space stations.
The first game was good but, the identity of the main character was missing, something which the upcoming sequel will offer and because of that Rebel Galaxy Outlaw will also have a new dialogue system as well.
A video was released which shows the pilot reacting to happenings around her from the cockpit and can also make gestures which she did before blowing things up. The game was showcased at PAX West 2018 and from the gameplay, the upcoming sequel will have more weight than its predecessor.
The game will also have a “custom ship-painting feature,” which was demonstrated by Double Damage Games’ developer. The feature is pretty cool, to be honest, and by using it, players can use any image as a stencil to craft the same. After finishing the paint job, a 3D-printed model will be available for players to buy.
The co-founder of the studio, Travis Baldree said, “This has got to be the most ambitious game I’ve ever worked on. We took what worked from the last title, and then went a little crazy. It’s got a stronger focus on story and place, a huge jump in detail, and while it still works great for folks with a HOTAS at home, I think we’ve managed to make space combat accessible and fun for everybody else in a way that nobody has managed before.”
Rebel Galaxy Outlaw Release Date:
