As One Piece gains popularity in the manga and anime and industry, it is growing in the gaming space as well. In Shueisha’s Shonen Jump magazine, the latest issue revealed that the new One Piece VR Game will be launching in 2018 in Japan so far! So without further ado lets get to it!
To begin with and for details regarding the game, the VR (virtual reality) experience will take players form the real world and transport them into the world of One Piece. Players will get to be apart of the One Piece Straw Hat Crew as you can interact with them in multiple ways as well as fighting alongside them as you take down the Marines together!
From exploring multiple rooms and characters on the ship, having conversations and making decisions in conversation to trigger different reactions, to exploring and sailing on the water, as well as fighting and training.
The One Piece VR game has had a demo experience that is available inside the Tokyo One Piece Tower theme park. The demo has been in place ever since July of 2017 and will be ongoing. The demo allows up to eight players.
The title for 2018 is officially called One Piece Grand Cruise. It was announced in the 44th issue of Shueisha Shonen Jump Magazine and no further details have been revealed but we will update you with more information when it is released.
