Rudo being Rudo, was against the idea and asked why he would want such things. He was then told the history behind his gloves, the very thing that has been crucial to his success in the abyss.
Rudo’s gloves were made by the Vendal’s leader, but we know that it can’t be true given how they developed with him. That very mention of gloves brings into question who the Vendals might be.
They were just an opposing force to cleaners not long ago, and they might be the final boss that the characters have to face.
