Rudo has spent his whole life in the slums of a wealthy town, living with his kind-hearted foster father, Legto. Unlike the rich citizens who waste food, clothes, and other resources, Rudo believes that everything has value. He despises how the upper class throws away perfectly good items without a second thought. Despite warnings from those around him, he regularly searches through the town’s garbage, looking for anything useful or valuable.
The town has a terrifying place known as the “Abyss”—a massive hole where all trash is dumped, including people who are no longer wanted. Rudo has a personal connection to this dark pit. His biological father was thrown into the Abyss after being accused of murder, and no one ever saw him again.
One evening, on his way home, Rudo encounters a mysterious figure. Though the meeting is brief, it leaves him unsettled. When he finally arrives home, he is met with a horrifying sight—Legto lying on the floor, bleeding and barely alive. Before Rudo can understand what happened, the authorities arrive and immediately accuse him of murder. Despite his desperate pleas of innocence, no one believes him. Just like his father, Rudo is thrown into the Abyss, left to die among the trash.
But instead of death, he finds something far worse. The bottom of the Abyss is not just a pit of garbage—it is a nightmarish place filled with monstrous creatures made from trash. These terrifying beings attack him, and with no way to fight back, he believes his life is over.

Just then, a man named Engine appears and saves him. Engine introduces himself as a “janitor,” someone who uses special weapons called “jinkis” to fight against the trash monsters. He explains that the Abyss is more than just a dumping ground—it is a dangerous world of its own.
Determined to find the true killer of Legto and clear his own name, Rudo has only one choice. He reluctantly becomes a janitor, learning to fight and survive in the Abyss. His goal is simple—get strong enough to escape and take revenge on the person who ruined his life.
With action, mystery, and a fight for justice, Rudo’s journey is just beginning. The deeper he goes, the more secrets he uncovers, and the truth behind the Abyss may be darker than he ever imagined.
