Fuuto Pi Episode 12 is set to release upcoming week. A manga series written by Riku Sanjo and illustrated by Masaki Sato, Fuuto PI was broadcast by Toei Company as part of Kamen Rider’s franchise in 2009. In August 2022, a television anime adaptation was released by Studio Kai and Ishimori Entertainment based on the comic, which Shogakukan serialized in Big Comic Spirits.

We see in episode 12 that it takes Brachiosaurus away the Silver Visa Tokime picked up, and he attempts to subjugate her using his powers, but Tokime recalls Shotaro’s advice and manages to resist him, allowing her to escape.

As a result, W deals Nikaido damage with Ryu’s Beetle Phone and their Heat Trigger forms, but Nikaido summons an army of Road Dopants and forces Ryu and W out of Shadow Fuuto, leaving them unable to return. Ritsuka tells Shotaro about a shrine Rentaro would visit and where he built the prototype valve he built before disappearing, which they found after Akiko encouraged him to do so.

FUUTO PI Episode 11 Review

The episode feels like it has evolved significantly. In basic terms, it appears as the Road Dopant, our initial foe, resurrected as a mass-produced mook. It’s displayed in aside symbolism, as when Shotaro and Terui are ejected from Shadow Fuuto, they return to the docks where Shotaro took selfies back when the show began.

I hope that by the time we reach the end, everything will have changed, in some way, to such an extent that nothing will ever be the same again. Tokime is the primary indicator of this, as you might expect. In most of this episode, the Kamen Riders W and Accel are involved in a massive melee, so she doesn’t get all the attention, but she’s also not inactive.

Despite Shotaro and Philip’s attempts to rescue her, Tokime manages to save herself, along with Rentaro, proving that even while being rescued by them, she is a strong, principled detective in training.

The boy who is the source of the brachiosaurus dopant disclosed at the end of last week’s episode confronts Tokime in this episode. The youngster proves to be a true piece of work, putting Tokime to a leering, mind-controlled striptease that is incredibly uncomfortable, as revealed by FUUTO PI’s attempt to create Kamen Rider for adults.

Thankfully, Tokime manages to escape the Brachio brat by using her own mind-control eyes, but it still seems gratuitous in a way that grates on me. Instead of cruel and tragic fanservice shenanigans, Tokime’s propensity for it is better when they are cheeky and fun.

This story’s presumably last chapter will have a payoff for that kind of revelation the following week. With that huge ol’ brawl, the first part of the plot fills in well. While the scene with W taking the first major blow against Reactor is somewhat stiff and overly long, at least we got a new weapon combo attack from it. Those toys have to be sold somewhere. The action kicks off once our heroes hit the Road(s) like it did last week.

In line with the aforementioned notion of how far things have come since the more gentle beginnings of FUUTO PI, it illustrates the absurd scale on which things are operating at this point.

By the episode’s conclusion, all of the characters have found their resolve and are harnessing the strength of their optimism to assist the clients and uncover the mystery as things come to a close. It would make perfect sense for her to exhibit that at the conclusion because that is precisely the kind of character that Shotaro has been attempting to instill in Tokime through this that characterizes a true detective.
