The series that Apple TV+ has produced and created by David S. Goyer and Josh Friedman is based on the story.

Foundation Season 1 Ending Explained
Well, if you are already caught up with Season 1, then there is a high chance that things might have left you on the edge of your seat. Now, you might be wondering, isn’t Salvor Maria’s daughter? Well, technically, it is true. However, it was later on revealed that Maria did not conceive Salvor in a purely biological way. Salvor does not have even a single strand of Maria’s DNA in her genetics. Then what happened exactly? It is depicted that Maria had conceived by using Gaal and Raych’s DNA.
She had managed to fuse the DNA and then made herself pregnant with that. This made the situation a bit more complex, as Maria claims that though Salvor does not have her genes, she has still gone through bearing and rearing her. This should also make her Salvor’s mother.

Foundation Season 2 Plot
In the Ending section, we discussed the part which seemed to get a definite ending. The other subplots in the series seem to have a lot of unanswered questions left. There is no doubt that all the loose threads will start to reel in. Even the makers of the show have confirmed that they will be getting into the major questions that they had purposefully left unanswered in Season 1.
They want us to trust them as they have reasons for everything. Therefore, one of the major plots for Foundation Season 2 could be the issue with the identical clones of Cleo I. When the show started, it seemed that Cleon I’s clones were identical and were in a level of perfection that no one could achieve. However, as we came closer to the finale, it was exposed that the clones were not that perfect.
This on the other hand, brings in a lot of problems. There is a chance then that there might be a power vacuum, and power-hungry people might unleash demonic havoc. Now, you might refer to the book that the series is based on.
However, the makers wanted the readers to have a unique experience so that they might not get spoiled. In other words, though they have based the series on this book, they have gone off on their own on a lot of issues and parts. Nonetheless, it will be quite interesting to know how many there are things to see.
Foundation Season 2 Cast
After the epic Season 1 finale, no idea is going to make it to Season 2, Yet, the main character will be Hari Seldon, who is played by Jared Harris. Honestly, his role as a mathematician suited him brilliantly. Then there is Brother Day, or rather Cleon XII and XIII. These are the clones of Cleon, which were later found to have flaws. Next comes Gaal Dornick, played by Lou Llobell, Salvor Hardin, played by Leah Harvey, Eto Demerzel, played by Laura Birn, Brother Dusk, who is Cleon XI, and XII, which means the clones of Cleon and is played by Terrence Mann. Lastly, there is Brother Dawn, who is again Cleon XIV, played by Cassian Bilton.
Now they were only the main casts of the series. There is still a lot more to go. There are the recurring ones, and also some more guest stars who might make an appearance in Season. Well, we will not give out much information until the trailer of the season releases so that we have a more clear cut idea as to who is going to be there 100%. We do not want to build a false hype around the show, at least not until you have watched it.
Foundation Season 2 Trailer
This is another thing that the fans have been searching for. Well, unfortunately, there is no trailer for Season 2 as of yet. However, there is nothing much to worry about as Apple TV+ has already confirmed that the show will have a season 2. All you can do is just sit and wait until they complete all their post-production work and get set to release it.
If we were to look into how they promoted for Season 1. Well, then, it is safe to say that the teasers for the series will be released before a month or so of the release date. The trailer will be released just a week or two before the series will be put out on the streaming platform. Therefore, if you find out that Apple TV+ has released a teaser for Foundation Season 2, then know that the time has come already.
Where to Watch Foundation?
Now, if you have become extremely interested and want to watch the series, well, then we would have to ask you to go for Apple TV+. You will not find the series on other streaming platforms. As the show is produced by Apple, of course, they are not going to give away the streaming rights to other platforms as well.
It is quite similar to a Netflix-produced series. You will not find them on other platforms. Therefore, if you are interested in the show, you have to get an Apple TV+ subscription.
