Huang Yiming, a former participant of the reality competition “Youth With You,” has made a public statement accusing Wang Sicong, the controversial director of Dalian Wanda Group, of neglecting his parental responsibilities towards her child.
On June 10, 2024, Huang shared a video online where she, under the influence of alcohol, expressed her frustration towards her child’s father without initially naming him. “To be honest, WSC, I hate you so much,” she stated, later confirming that WSC referred to Wang Sicong, known for his billionaire playboy reputation.
In the video, Huang questioned the backlash she faced: “Is it not alright for me to complain about Wang Sicong? Why are there so many people talking about me? Is it not the same for others when they drink too much?”
Public reaction was divided, with some criticizing Huang for airing her grievances publicly while others sympathized with her situation.
Huang explained that the rift with Wang Sicong began when she was blocked from introducing him to their child, suggesting he rejected the opportunity to meet his baby. This revelation added context to rumors from October 2023, which speculated Wang was the father. Neither party had addressed these rumors at the time.
Huang Yiming revealed she gave birth in June 2023 and had broken up with the child’s father after discovering her pregnancy. Her attempt to connect Wang with his child had been thwarted, leading to further conflict.
Huang had participated in “Youth With You 2” in 2020 as a trainee under M+ Entertainment, where she received an evaluation grade of F in both rounds and was eliminated early, finishing at rank 75. Since then, she has maintained a relatively low profile until these recent revelations.
