Episode 4 has been highlighted as a “near-perfect episode” in a CBR review, delving into Aqua’s unresolved trauma and setting up the season to explore his journey toward recovery. This season adapts the “Tokyo Blade” arc, which deals with the challenges of adapting a manga series into live-action.
