The country where Miss Margaret lived was Mariana. It was a place with a clear border between the North and the South. The South was where the weather was warm and it was great for farming. The North had a poor environment but had mighty military power.
At first, the two provinces seemed to cooperate well with each other. However, a large fire broke out. The fire was so large, it became historic. The North was simply laid to waste. The problem was what happened afterward. And what was central to that was Miss Margaret of the House of Justus and Mister Squall of the House of Lyesti.
In the beginning, Mister Squall shows all love and interest in Miss Margaret. He puts in so much effort to meet her though the situation gets worse and worse. But one day, he shows up and pretends to be normal just to tie up Miss Margaret and kill her.
Mister Squall tells his men to throw Miss Margaret away into the ocean and to make sure she is dead. The witch of the forest comes to her rescue and gives her another chance at life.
Well, this is not the case that normally happens so Miss Margaret takes the chance to take all her revenge as well. And this story is Miss Margaret’s second life story.
Recap
We previously saw in Foam Of The Waves Chapter 8 that Jack found Mag very but without any questions asked he continued to do her first aid. He then tells her that she will regularly have to make sure that the dressing is redone.
Jack also tells Mag to keep wiping off her pus and blood and to take medications to relieve her pain but Mag just finds him very loud instead. She also keeps becoming sensitive when there are a lot of people around.
We then saw that Mag could not believe that all this was done by the Northerners. She still believes that there must have been some sort of misunderstanding. Mag also wonders if it was the Southerners who started the war first.
Mag moves on to treat Cardel next. He is terrified though. He does not seem to like the idea of getting treated by someone whose origin is unknown. But Jack tells him not to cross the line and that he has spoken enough.
Jack then continues to introduce Mag to Cardel. He tells Cardel that she has come from another village and he is taking care of her for a short time. Everyone around her seems to be interested in listening to her voice but is just not able to.

In the upcoming chapter, Mag’s disbelief in the Northerners’ involvement in the conflict could lead to her embarking on a quest for the truth.
