Flowers of Worship chapter 43 opens with Cylia. She is the leader of the order of Hearthtread and the next in line to become the Duke. She was surprised to see a stranger in her place. By looking at his expression, we can guess that the stranger had some connection with Cylia.

It appears that the man was using magic in the next panel, which surprised the MC. He called himself an enlightened sage and told her this meeting was not in the plan. But Illy entrusted him with something. That forces him to come to this place and talk with his beloved daughter. He asked Cylia if she had an idea about him. As the plot progresses, it is revealed that Cylia had prior knowledge of him.

Cylia asks him how he knows her father. He giggles and tells her that he is her father’s friend. As I’m sure Cylia knows, your father was an avid book collector. He had several books that I wanted, so we became friends rather quickly.
