Nintendo has released the first wave of the Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave Expansion Pass, giving players new content for the tactical role-playing game on Nintendo Switch 2. Priced at $34.99, the DLC is available through the Nintendo eShop and the Nintendo Store on Nintendo.com.
The Expansion Pass expands the game’s time-traveling story, in which four heroes travel through different periods to gather allies and confront the demon god Balor. Players take on the role of the Promised One, fighting to protect the world’s future through tactical battles and decisions that connect the heroes’ journeys.
Nintendo has divided the Expansion Pass into three content waves. The first is available now, while the second is scheduled for winter and the third is planned for 2027. The DLC is sold as a single package, meaning individual waves cannot be purchased separately. Players must also own the full version of Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave to access the additional content.
EXPANSION PASS ADDS THREE WAVES OF CONTENT
Wave 1 is available now and introduces prototype weapons for the four heroes, modeled after the Heroes’ Relics from Fire Emblem: Three Houses.
Wave 2 arrives this winter, adding the powerful gods Aurora, Smyrnos, and Jurah as allies during the story’s final act. This wave will also introduce alternate outfits for characters.
Wave 3 is planned for 2027 and will feature new story content centered on four familiar warriors, Bertrand, Talimun, Orchel, and Anatolia, competing in the Heroic Games. The update will also add new allies, classes, and other content, with further details to be announced later.
Players can watch Nintendo’s official Expansion Pass overview for a preview of the upcoming content.
