The maid has been found with the letters that have come from the slums and is charged with conspiracy.
However, those were not her letters but Camelia’s, and for that to happen at this moment means there was someone behind. Camelia didn’t have time to think through who could that be, just told that he had to arrest her too. The officer was shocked as he couldn’t arrest the child of the man who saved the nation.
Claude decided to intervene at this moment and told the officer that Camelia was with him the night before. This made everyone around start whispering about the scene as they couldn’t fathom what had just happened before them. Claude, however, was doing this to impede the investigation and make an alibi so that Camelia could come out of this safe.
