With the second leg of the final season of Fear The Walking Dead Season 8 and the last episodes slowly making their way each week to our screens each, everything in regards to the story is carefully being woven and the characters are being written and taken into a conclusion, sometimes as a surprise, sometimes one that we expect.
With only four episodes left, the second leg of Fear The Walking Dead has us watching how Luciana, Charlie, Daniel, Strand, and Madison have had to put their differences away in search of a greater goal. As PADRE’s dominance becomes more evident and the challenges ahead are also the zombies, things are very exciting indeed in the final episodes. So, without any further ado, let’s dive into what happened last week.
Recap
Daniel, Strand, and Madison meet up with Charlie, who has been cured of her illness by PADRE, and Luciana while they are searching for gas. In exchange for using PADRE’s resources to aid other survivors across the nation and for the release of Daniel, whom PADRE had planned to kill, Luciana had agreed to refine oil for them after they had captured her.
When Charlie admits to killing Nick, Madison becomes furious and starts blaming her own decisions for her children’s deaths. After learning that Charlie had Nick’s body dug up and cremated, leaving Nick’s ashes for his mother, Madison gives in and forgives the girl, even though she had demanded that Charlie use her skills to kill Troy.
But before Charlie can be freed, Troy captures him and demands to know where PADRE is. Charlie escapes and kills herself in the chaos of an explosion she set, giving her life to save PADRE. For a short while, Madison assists Troy in his search for his missing daughter Tracy.
She discovers that Troy was disguising the walkers’ arms to play with Tracy and that Troy holds Madison responsible for Tracy’s mother’s death, even though Madison was unaware of this. Daniel leaves to be with Luciana after Charlie’s death turns Luciana and Daniel against Madison. Madison leaves PADRE in Strand’s care after realizing they are correct and strikes out on her own.
