Jung Jung Do and Lee Jung Mook have directed the series, Family. Jang Jung Do’s work includes Our Blues, Alchemy of Souls, Alchemy of Souls 2 and Island. Lee Jung Mook’s works include The Crowned Clown, Memories of the Alhambra, 100 Days My Prince and Mr Sunshine. Jang Hyuk, Jang Na Ra, Chae Jung An, and Kim Nam Hee are popular names cast as main characters. Jang Hyuk and Jang Nara are collaborating on the series Family after a nine-year gap. This project is their fourth collaboration.
The story is about Kwon Do Hoon, a NIS black agent living a life of an ordinary husband who works as an office worker. Knag Yoo Ra, his wife, is a sweet but intimidating person who dreams about having a perfect family. His wife doesn’t know the real identity of her husband. His wife may be an excellent housewife, but there is a hidden secret.
Family Episode 4: Recap
Kwon Do Hoon is a top agent who is a skilled sniper. He seems a perfect agent, but it is not the reality. Kwon Do Hoon is the opposite when it comes to his family life. Throughout the past, he was absent when his family needed him. Kwon Do Hoon forgot his wife’s birthday and his daughter’s important day. This time has forgotten his tenth wedding anniversary and leaves his wife alone on the trip.
Kwon Do Hoon makes use of his Manager Oh as an excuse. He uses it to absolve himself of the guilt of neglecting his family. He is not involved in his house activities. He has been married for ten years but doesn’t know what his wife likes. One of the days is the memorial day of Do Hoon’s mother. His wife uses his phone to invite Manager Oh.
There is a delivery boy with food ordered by the sister-in-law of Kwon Do Hoon. Manager Oh is a girl and no one has seen her in Kwon Do Hoon’s family. She beats the delivery boy, whom she suspects is a gang member. She tries to give gifts to Kwon Do Hoon’s family to be forgiving for keeping Kwon Do Hoon away from his family.
Kang Yoo Ra runs across Oh Cheon Ryeon once more in the hotel suite that Kwon Do Hoon had reserved. There is a drinking contest which ends with a fight. Knag Yoo Ra understands Oh Chun Ryeon’s thinking patterns. The misunderstanding cleared. Kwon Do Hoon meets with Wolf, a German friend who is back after years.
Kwon Do Hoon and his family are confused after learning about the last will of his mother. Kwon Do Hoo was tracking. He finds out the sniper of his colleagues is injured.
