Ignia has begun the 100-year festival that had been on halt for all those years, creating chaos across the globe. And to make things complicated, a part of Acnologia has shown itself at the festival, which forced Ignia’s hand in the first place.
The secret figure turned out to be Faris but a lot different from the version we have seen so far. The others were curious as to how she had the power of Acnologia despite having no connection to him. Before she could explain, Ignia launched an attack on him only for it to be blocked by her arm, which shocked everyone.
What’s shocking wasn’t that Faris blocked the attack, but rather, the arm of hers belonged to Acnologia. Faris explained how she had gotten possession of the arm and what she intended to do with its powers. Ignia got worried that his plan would fail if he let her take the lead, thus, he asked the Signoia sisters to begin the rite.
Ignia explained to Natsu how the world hadn’t faced the dragons for years, and what its role in the world was. His explanations also went down to how the festival came to be the 100-year quest as well. Once the ritual had begun, the world was faced with a tremor and dragons rose from slumbers.
