Horimiya Creator Set to Debut Special New Manga Project
For those unfamiliar with Hero and Adachi’s work, both creators boast impressive resumes. Hero is renowned for their contribution to Horimiya, a beloved high school romance series. On the other hand, Adachi oversees the Kadokawa adaptation of “Higehiro: After Being Rejected, I Shaved and Took in a High School Runaway.”
Horimiya, available in English through Yen Press, follows the endearing tale of Kyouko Hori and Izumi Miyamura, two seemingly opposite high school students whose lives intersect in unexpected ways. The series has also received widespread acclaim for its hit anime adaptation, which can be streamed on Crunchyroll.
In “Horimiya,” readers are introduced to the charming dynamics between Hori, a popular and attractive student, and Miyamura, her seemingly gloomy classmate. As their paths intertwine, the duo discovers the multiple facets of each other’s personalities, challenging preconceived notions and forging genuine connections.
With the anticipation building for “The Light that Shines on Me is My Brother’s Face,” fans eagerly await another story from Hero, further solidifying their reputation as a master storyteller in the manga.
