Evolution By Disturbed: Review And Ratings

Hey guys! Today we’ll talk about the lesser-known band, Disturbed. Disturbed, the heavy metal band came out with an album recently called Evolution. Many thought this name would be some sort of symbolism, like some sort of implication that disturbed is finally making good music. But no, sadly this album is as worse as the previous ones and the ones that will come after it, for sure. The last album came out in 2015 and was handled by the same label of Reprise and Warner Bros.

Disturbed the band’s music is scary, gothic and worst of all sounds something that one would play in the background of B grade horror movies. The lead of the band David Draiman is still called ‘Mad Davey’ by publications. Evolution forms the seventh album of the band, and it consists of 10 songs. But interestingly enough, the band has done some business, it popular with young adults and 5/6 albums by Disturbed figured on Billboards top list. Disturbed might not be a hit with the critics but it has a record of selling 12 million records worldwide.

Although the album (Evolution) release happened on October 19′ 2018, the first song came out back in the month of August. It’s called ‘”Are You Ready.” The second song came out shortly afterward, it’s called “A Reason To Fight.” Disturbed full-fledged released the entire album Evolution in October, the entire duration of which is 43:14 minutes long. The third song called “The Best One’s Lie” came out on October 12’ 2018. The album Evolution holds worst critical ratings of the hour, Consequence of Sound gave it a B- and Metacritic gave it a 59/100. It scored two stars on NME and a 4/10 on Exclaim! Disturbed has somewhat a decent rating on Louder sound and AllMusic with 4/5 and 3/4 stars, respectively.
