What is the plot of Everyone Else is A Returnee?
Yu Illhan is an ordinary student. But he is very lonely. He does not have any groups he is part of or any friends on whom he can rely. He has never experienced any parties or social gatherings that friends usually have because he was never invited to one.
He’s always felt left out, never to be included in anything. But when a question of the future of Earth is raised, everyone escapes Earth and heads to another planet for their safety and well-being. Yu Illhan stays back for real this time. He decides to save the planet before it becomes uninhabitable.

In the previous chapter, that is Chapter 34, the humans keep getting attacked by dangerous creatures. There seems to be no end to these creatures as they keep respawning and evolving, which proves to be a heavy burden for humans to annihilate them all at once as they do not have the strength to do so.
Since the lizards keep coming at them, his companion suggests killing the leader would put an end to the whole fight. As per this suggestion, he heads to attack the leader. As it turns out, there is a Korean member on the team who informs him to be careful about the lizard as it explodes in contact with humans.
So he continues with his attacks, and suddenly everyone is startled by an explosion, and they begin to wonder if he died. But he emerges safely and uses his new weapon against the lizard leader, who takes a critical hit. His followers try to save him but are blocked by the humans. So the leader plans to blow the whole place up.
Everyone Else is A Returnee Chapter 35, Spoilers
In the upcoming chapter, which is Chapter 35, we can expect Yu to make use of his new and evolved skill and destroys the other flame lizards that continue to attack him.
And we get to see him in full action as he stops the explosion carried out by the lizard leader as well. Yu turns full offense with all his attacks to prevent the attacks from turning into large-scale attacks on him and his team.
