Esaret Synopsis
The story of Esaret follows Orhun, – the heir of the Demirhanli family, who received everything from his parents except what mattered to him the most- love. He lived together with his twin sister Nihan, his younger sister Nursah, and his distant and estranged mother, Afife. Orhun had never felt the warmth of familial love since the death of his father.
Nihan, the twin sister, had left to work as a doctor in Eritrea, but after a long time of no contact, the family began to worry about her well-being, Orhun, anxious at her sister’s sudden absence of communication, goes on a journey to search for her.
On his way, he meets a poor woman named Hira, who had lived her whole life as a prisoner under the captivity of sex traffickers. Orhun finds out that her sister, Nihan, for whom he went on his trip, had been poisoned and killed by a gang- the gang that had held Hira captive.
Later, Hira confesses guilty of being the one to drug his sister. Devastated and in rage, Orhun’s plans change from finding his sister to seeking revenge for her.
As the first step of his plan, he goes to fight against the perpetrators and keep Hira hostage, as she, too, was guilty of the murder of Nihan. His anger and resentment towards her actions made him plot an evil revenge plan against her- taking her home in the guise of saving her, but in reality, making sure she pays for her sins.
A series of events take place during the time period between Nihan’s murder and Hira’s settlement in Orhun’s family. Romance sparks between Orhun and Hira, which has its own set of problems considering his mother did not wish for her son to marry a poor woman. With hardships coming their way, this romantic thriller takes us on a journey full of twists and terms, creating an atmosphere full of suspense.
