The Napier family has been hit by COVID. Erin Napier, 38, revealed in an Instagram post that “3 out of 4” of the family tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday.
Sharing the update, the HGTV star posted photos of husband Ben Napier, 40, along with their daughters Helen, 6, and Mae, 2½, confined at home as they recuperate. She shared,
“When 3 out of 4 get covid light, but make the most of it,”
She didn’t share which family member escaped catching the virus.
In the initial photo, Erin’s legs were visible from atop a bed at home, while Ben sat nearby at a table in a nearby room.
The subsequent snaps depicted the couple’s daughters engaging in appropriate activities, playing the game Operation, and assisting with gardening outdoors.
The last photo showcased Erin holding a thermometer displaying 102.2°F, as she monitored her flu symptoms.
In the previous month, the mom of two posted pictures of the family in better health, capturing her husband Ben spending quality time with their daughters. In the endearing snapshots, Ben wore a pink headband while engaging in pretend play with daughter Helen at her “beauty shop,” while also cradling a sleeping Mae in his arms.
Just days before this heartwarming post, Erin and Ben shared another touching moment on their show “Home Town,” revisiting the college where they first met and fell in love as students back in 2004.
“This is where we met,” Erin reminisced about their alma mater, formerly known as Jones County Junior College, situated near their hometown of Laurel, Mississippi. “We had our first date in the student union. Everyone on both sides of our family went to school here.”
“We’ve been talking to our old friends from college,” Ben said in the episode. “They’re going to be involved in this.” Erin added, “We get to time travel. We get to be 19 and 21-year-old Erin and Ben again.”
Erin and Ben, who tied the knot in 2008, had previously shared their memories of their first encounter.
“I remember spotting Erin during the first week of school,” Ben reminisced. “She was crossing the student union, sporting a pixie haircut. I didn’t even know what a pixie cut was then, but I knew I liked it.”
