Asuka, a beloved WWE superstar, recently confirmed she’ll be taking time off to heal a knee injury. This news comes after Dakota Kai announced Asuka’s withdrawal from the Queen of The Ring tournament last week due to an undisclosed injury.
Asuka addressed her fans directly on her YouTube channel. She revealed the injury had been bothering her for a while, explaining why she wasn’t at her best during the recent European tour.

Despite the limitations, Asuka expressed deep appreciation for her Damage CTRL teammates, Dakota Kai and Kairi Sane, who provided support throughout the tour.
In the video, Asuka stated, “After Backlash and the European tour, I had to take a break to treat my knee that I had been hurting for a while. My partners Kairi and Dakota helped me a lot during this tour as I could not move at my best. I am very grateful to both of them.”
Earlier this year, there were concerns about a possible injury, but it turned out to be a false alarm. This time, however, the injury is legitimate. WWE fans everywhere wish Asuka a speedy recovery and look forward to her return to the ring.
