We will finally see Kaiden in his normal state for the first time in the action series with Kartein’s help. And it will be against Astra, who has ascended to the top 10 rankers of the world with his new powers. However, will these powers hold a candle to Kaiden in Eleceed Chapter 274, or would they be just for show?
Andrei was the one who helped set up the fight between these two, with Kartein being the bate in this case. However, their main goal of Andrei was to the healer who had left his home to fight him. However, the white cat’s alter ego knows what kind of trouble he would get into, so he takes some precautions.
And that precaution was none other than Kaiden, who followed them to the place and forced himself into the fight. However, despite his sudden appearance and majestic aura, Andrei is not shocked to see one of the strongest rankers in the world. It’s the opposite, and he wants to see how better he can do against Kaiden with his newfound powers.

Eleceed Chapter 274 will show us what Kaiden is like when he is at his maximum capacity. The series did a really good job of keeping Kaiden as the most powerful character while also not showing anything about it. This made the power scaling of the characters believable and gave Kaiden moments to shine when it was his time.
There are times now and then when Kaiden would leave his cat form and fight others out of duty. But those are few and far between, and his curse of being stuck as a cat also makes things hard for him. So much so that he never gets to be part of the action and is on the sidelines.
But that is how an overpowered character should be, or an overpowered teacher in this case. His very existence sets the tone of the world and what people can and can’t do to others. Though Kaiden started as a malevolent being, he changed a lot thanks to Jiwoo and his positive influence on him.
If Kaiden had never gotten into the accident with other Rankers and been put under a curse, he would have never changed. And the world of rankers would have stayed merciless with no hope for change.
Recap
Eleceed Chapter 273 saw Kaiden standing over Andrei and Kartein, giving his usual vibes when he is in his human form. Kartein was shocked to see his friend coming to help him this fast and a bit annoyed by his attitude. Kaiden made it sound like Kartein was a little cat that had left home out of mischief.
Andrei was shocked to learn that Kaiden would share the roof with someone, but he also realized why Kartein had made his move earlier. It wasn’t to harm him but to send a message to Kaiden, who was on his way to Kartein. That plan worked, but the healing ranker was worried about something else: the power that Andrei had obtained.
Andrei then started pouring his mana into the area, filling it with his ominous aura and consuming Kaiden in the process. The fantasy series protagonist (for this chapter, at least) was shocked by the power emitted by one of the top 10. However, Kartein informed Kaiden that it was not what it seemed like, and the other ranker had gone beyond the top 10.
