Will Smith has denied claims that he had an intimate relationship with Duane Martin. Will’s ex-employee, Brother Bilal, made the claims earlier this week during an interview on the podcast Unwine With Tasha K.
In it, Bilal said he witnessed multiple “bed acts” throughout his time working for the actor, including once when he allegedly “walked in” on him and Duane having intercourse.
Fans are really disappointed with the development of the star actor and Duane Martin, but before we call a spade a spade, is it true both men are in this act, or is it just an accusation by Bilal?
About Will Smith
Smith was born Willard Carroll Smith Jr. on September 25, 1968, in Philadelphia. His mother was Caroline, a school board employee, and his father was Willard C. Smith, a refrigeration company owner.
Due to his middle-class upbringing, he attended the strict Catholic Our Lady of Lourdes School, although his family remained faithful to their Baptist faith. He then attended Overbrook High School.
Will Smith’s West Philadelphia neighborhood was a melting pot of cultures, with Orthodox Jews living alongside large numbers of Muslims. Smith was an excellent student, known for his charming personality and quick talk that got him out of trouble, a trait that soon earned him the nickname “Prince.”
Smith began rapping at the age of 12, imitating heroes such as Grandmaster Flash, but later added comedic elements to the rhymes that would become his trademark. At age 16, Smith met his future collaborator, Jeff Towns, at a party. The two turned out friends, and the team DJ Jazzy Jeff and Fresh Prince was born.
Is Will Smith’s Affair with Duane Martin True or False?
In a trending interview with internet personality Tasha K, his brother Bilaal revealed that he used to work as the ‘Emancipation’ actor’s personal assistant.
He said the incident occurred during Hollywood’s “Hurry Up and Wait” game when Smith and Martin were spotted engaging in intimate acts in a dressing room.
Bilaal described the incident as follows: “When I opened the door to Duane’s dressing room, I saw Duane having intercourse with Will. There was a couch there, and Will leaned against the couch, so Duane got up and killed him. He killed him for fun. There was a murder in there.”
Will Smith’s personal life has been under intense scrutiny lately, especially after Jada Pinkett Smith revealed in her new book that he and Will have been living apart since 2016. Jada’s revelation came as a surprise, especially considering Will called her his wife the night of the infamous Chris Rock incident at the Oscars ceremony.
Duane Martin has not publicly commented on the Bilaal brothers’ allegations. His divorce from ex-wife Tisha Campbell Martin was finalized in 2020 after the latter initiated controversial legal proceedings in 2018.
Will Smith not only denies the allegations but also plans to take legal action against Bilal, sources told US media.
Jada’s Reactions to Will Smith’s Affair with Duane Martin
Jada addressed the ‘ridiculous’ claims for the first time yesterday in an interview on the Breakfast Club radio show. ‘Let me just say this,’ she began. ‘That’s crazy, right? That’s nonsense,’ Jada continued, adding, ‘This guy tried a shakedown, and he’s a money shakedown that didn’t work.’
She also said, ‘We will take legal action because it’s one thing to have an opinion about someone rather than just making up a vile, malicious story, and that’s a criminal offense. Let’s move on,’ she said.
As for why Bilaal was so insistent on Will, he thinks Jada might be upset that he was paid for a book she collaborated with Will on. ‘This is based on this person’s belief that she used Will’s book to do business in some way and spent money or whatever and needs to be compensated,’ she said. ‘He’s already tried it, this money shakedown.’
She added, ‘Will was going to give him a certain amount of money, and he didn’t receive it. So it’s all based on the circumstances.’ He said he was unaware of the terms of the business deal but explained: ‘As I said, we are in the process of pursuing legal action.’
Will also vehemently denied Bilal’s claims in a statement to People magazine through Bilal’s representative. ‘This story is completely fabricated, and the claims are demonstrably false,’ the spokesperson said.
Meanwhile, Duane has not publicly commented on Bilal’s claims.
