Bandai Namco Entertainment America has introduced “Goku’s Next Journey,” a forthcoming DLC as part of the Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot game’s second DLC season pass. Set to launch in February, this DLC will focus on the character Uub.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot originally debuted in January 2020 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam, followed by a Nintendo Switch port in September 2021 and a Google Stadia release in October 2021. Season Pass 2 includes the “Bardock – Alone Against Fate” DLC story, launched in January 2023 alongside the new PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions.
The season pass also incorporates the 23rd World Tournament DLC, launched in August 2023.
The game’s first DLC, “New Power Awakens – Part 1,” arrived in April 2020, introducing characters Beerus and Whis and showcasing the Super Saiyan God forms for Goku and Vegeta. “Part 2” launched in November 2020, featuring SSGSS Goku, SSGSS Vegeta, and Golden Frieza. The “Trunks: The Warrior Of Hope” DLC was released in June 2021.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot offers a gaming experience inspired by the anime’s Cell Saga and Buu Saga. It includes playable characters like Trunks and Bonyu, a new character designed by Akira Toriyama. The game supports both English and Japanese audio, along with Neutral-Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese subtitles.
