The Dragon Ball Diama Anime and Dragon Ball Sparkling! Zero games will be playing a crucial part for the next 10 years. Besides Diama, Iyoku did not elaborate on any specific plans for the future.
Iyoku shared his thoughts on expanding Dragon Ball in overseas markets and it appears that the new executive producer is going to be involved in more than just anime going forward, he will especially be assisting in the development of games as he believes that it will play an important role in development and success of the Dragon Ball franchise.
The expansion of Dragon Ball overseas is going to be the key vision for Akio Iyoku as it is very important, which is why New York Comic Con 2023 was chosen as the location to reveal Dragon Ball Daima. It is very important to have a strong presence outside of Japan for the success of Dragon Ball, and this proved to be a good move for the Franchise.
Moreover, Iyoku’s vision for the anime industry is quite different from his unique approach; he wants to transcend the boundaries of the corporate organization. He wants to end the cycle where a Manga is made and then adapted into Anime, and then the anime comes to an end resulting in short and ending production.
